Do I need a divorce coach if I'm already working with an attorney?
The role of a divorce coach is not to provide legal advice and should therefore not act as a replacement for an attorney.

Instead, a divorce coach helps you engage with other divorce professionals more efficiently.
An attorney is an important professional to have on your divorce team, but expecting your lawyer to play the role of counselor, therapist and thinking partner for all concerns outside your legal rights and responsibilities is not an expectation all lawyers will want or be willing to fulfill.
While some attorneys may enjoy or tolerate the expectation of "full-service" support, legal fees can quickly skyrocket if you call your lawyer every time you find yourself in the slightest predicament or in need of emotional support.
A coach can help you manage your emotions, get focused, organized and become more knowledgeable about the divorce process. Our work together will provide you with the tools and resources necessary to be an efficient and effective client, saving you time, money and additional heartache.

I think my ex is a narcissist. How can you help me co-parent with someone who doesn't respect me or my boundaries and is unwilling to change?
Unfortunately, separation alone does not resolve all the issues that lead a married couple to choose divorce. Problems you may have experienced within your marriage such as a lack of communication, unmanaged emotions, differences in parenting styles, high-conflict personalities and a lack of structure and boundaries can make it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to co-parent amicably.

The tough, maybe scary, perhaps difficult to accept news: I can't change your ex... and neither can you.

The good, exciting and freeing news: You don't have to change your ex to experience positive changes in your life or in your child's life.
Success in my program does not require your ex's participation. I help parents move past their resentment, overcome their fears, develop effective communication skills, and establish healthy boundaries. We will work one on one to shift you away from the CHAOS, towards the calm - no matter how difficult your ex is.

I feel so overwhelmed. This all sounds good, but how do I know if this program is for me?
